Affiliate Resources For Newbies

I wanted to include on this page a summary of useful websites under each of the following important categories and the reason why I have included them. On other pages I will go into more detail on those categories.

Research Tools

Before setting out on any projects to promote your affiliate products, it is crucial that you perform some Research Before Starting. This is one of the most important parts because if you get this right, it can be very lucrative.

One of the major areas of research will be Keyword Research. These are some tools that can help you:

• Google Adwords Keyword Tool - This is a free tool and is provided by Google for assistance with PPC Campaigns.

• Market Samurai - This is a piece of software is worth investing in. It provides information about your competition and lots of other stuff.

• Google Wonder Wheel - This is another free tool by Google. This helps brainstorm some topics and gives ideas for Keywords.

• Micro Niche Finder Another great piece of software. Gives you the Green Light on your project.

Web Hosting and Domain Purchases

There are many companies worldwide selling domain names and providing Web Hosting.

 For Domains, I use

• www.moniker.com - This is a large domain name registrar. They have a useful auction site called Snapnames if you ever want to sell an unused domain.
• Others
• www.godaddy.com - Big domain registrar and host provider. Can't have a hotmail or gmail email to join.
• www.domain.com - I like this site, because when you are searching for domains it can so you other choices.

• For Hosting, I use
• JustHost.com  These are the most competitive I can find. Take an unlimited plan so that you can have multiple websites from one account.

Website Building or Blog

This depends whether you want a static Website or you want a Blog.

I use Both. For building websites I use

• XSite-Pro This is a great website building software where you can build as many websites as you want. Its a World Class Product and it won't break the bank.

• For a Blog
• Wordpress - Now if you take a hosting account with Just Host their is a facility to install Wordpress in the c-panel. This is a silky smooth blog builder with lots of templates.

Leverage Yourself

• Writing content for websites cab be quite time consuming and you are probably better off spending your time promoting your site or doing some research.
• I have had success with:
• www.elance.com This is a site where you can post up a job proposal of say, content writing and get quotes from around the world. When you have agreed terms you charge a clearing account with funds and then when the job is done release the funds to the provider.

Promoting Your Site

You can promote your site through Social Media Sites. Here are some of them:
